Harley Quinn, Amanda Waller, Rick Flag, Captain Boomerang and many more will be the new members of James Gunn's Suicide Squad.
The villains of DC Comics they will meet again to fulfill the most dangerous missions. The new Suicide Squad team will be made up of some characters that we got to see in the 2016 movie with some new ones. Then we leave you all those who have confirmed.

Harley Quinn – Margot Robbie
It will be his third appearance on the big screen after Suicide Squad (2016) and Birds of Prey (2020), it is expected that we will see new faces of this crazy character. Since Margot Robbie herself commented that they have let her explore more about Harley Quinn.
Amanda Waller – Viola Davis
Another returning character from the previous Suicide Squad movie is Viola Davis' Amanda Waller. She is a government official and one of the leaders of Task Force X, tasked with keeping an eye on all the DC Comics antiheroes and villains, potentially enlisting them on impossible missions.
Rick Flag – Joel Kinnaman
Another of the leaders of Task Force X, Rick Flag, uses his military experience to lead his squadmates on the battlefield. In the events of the first film, Rick Flag's sense of duty and his relationship with June Moone / Enchantress (Cara Delevigne) were put to the test, leaving plenty of room for his character to be further explored in the Squad's new story. Suicide.
Captain Boomerang – Jai Courtney
A “deranged” thief and enemy of The Flash, Captain Boomerang impacts fights using boomerangs as weapons. Given how his eccentric personality was established in Suicide Squad 2016, it will be fascinating to see how he interacts with his fellow Task Force X members in the new installment.
Polka-Dot Man – David Dastmalchian
He is one of the new characters to join the Suicide Squad. Abner Krill / Polka-Dot Man, played by David Dastmalchian (Ant-Man, Dune). In the comics, Polka-Dot Man is an unconventional foe of Batman, whose polka dot disguise allows him to turn each location into a weapon or other tool to use.
Ratcatcher – Daniela Melchior
Suicide Squad will also present a new version of Ratcatcher, played by The Black Book and Parque Mayer actress Daniela Melchior. In the comics his name is Otis Flannegan and he is a rat catcher who acquires the ability to communicate and train rodents. Ratcatcher used these abilities to serve as a member of Batman's gallery of villains.
King Shark – Steve Agee
One of the most anticipated characters in Suicide Squad has been King Shark, a character whose presence in the film has been speculated for months. He is a giant shark-man hybrid named Nanaue, King Shark has been a member of the Suicide Squad, the Secret Society of Super Villains and the Secret Six. He has also made an increasing number of appearances in other media, including in multiple episodes of The Flash series.
Bloodsport – Idris Elba
After months of speculation from fans, it has been confirmed that Luther and Hobbs & Shaw star Idris Elba will be playing Superman's villain Bloodsport.
This character has been a sporadic DC Comics figure since the 1980s and we've gotten to see three versions over the years. Initially, the nickname went to Robert DuBois, an African-American man who suffers a mental breakdown after his brother returns home seriously injured by the Vietnam War. DuBois is manipulated into believing that Superman is his enemy and confronts the Kryptonian with a teleporter and bullets of Kryptonite.
The second Bloodsport, Alex Trent, was a racist fanatic and member of a white supremacist group, and he frequently came face to face with his predecessor, even going so far as to kill him. A third unnamed Bloodsport was established in the subsequent continuity, and was teamed up with Hellgrammite and Riot.
Peacemaker – John Cena
WWE Superstar John Cena will play Peacemaker. This character made his debut in Charlton Comics 'Fightin' 5 # 40, and finally made his DC Comics debut in a four-issue miniseries in 1988. The character, whose real name is Christopher Smith, is a devout pacifist diplomat, who uses his superhero skills to further his cause. Peacemaker later learned that his ideology was the result of his dark family history, as he was ashamed that his father was a leader of the Nazi death camp.
Savant – Michael Rooker
Created by Gail Simone and Ed Benes, Savant first debuted in 2003's Birds of Prey # 56. Savant, also known as Brian Durlin, established himself as the heir to a prestigious fortune, who had moved to Gotham City to try to be a vigilante. He later turned to form a blackmail business alongside his partner, a former KGB agent named Creote. Savant crossed paths with the Birds of Prey several times, but his non-linear memory made him forget and caused problems over the years. Savant was then reintroduced into the New 52 continuity in two issues of Suicide Squad, in which Amanda Waller tasked the team with finding Harley Quinn.
Javelin – Flula Borg
Flula Borg (Pitch Perfect, The Boss Baby) will play Javelin. In the comics, Javelin is a German Olympian with an arsenal of spear-shaped weapons, frequently facing off against Hal Jordan / Green Lantern.
Mongal – Mayling Ng
Wonder Woman and The Scorpion King: Book of Souls actress Mayling Ng will play Mongal. In the comics, Mongal is an alien warlord and the eventual ruler of the planet Almerac. Throughout his two decades of DC Comics appearances, Mongal crossed paths with Superman and also made appearances in Green Lantern and Wonder Woman.
The Thinker – Peter Capaldi
Doctor Who star Peter Capaldi will play The Thinker, a character who has had four different incarnations throughout the DC Comics canon. The first, Clifford DeVoe, has been participating in comics since the 1940s and served as one of the original members of the Injustice Society. Clifford established himself as a failed lawyer, wearing his “thinking cap,” a metal hat that could project metallic abilities. Later incarnations of the character included Cliff Carmichael, a Ronnie Raymond / Firestorm rival, Des Connor, a short-lived Batman villain, and an artificial intelligence. Apart from being in Suicide Squad, he was also in The Flash series.
Sol Soria – Alice Braga
The New Mutants star Alice Braga will play Sol Soria, who appears to be a female version of the villain Juan Soria with a gender bias. In the comics, Soria is a criminal who enlists in the Suicide Squad and tries to gain extra powers by injecting nanorobots into his injured hand. Soria also had the ability to open any padlock, which turned out to be useful for the team, even though his appearance only lasted two issues of the 2018 Suicide Squad career.
Blackguard – Pete Davidson
Saturday Night Live and The King of Staten Island star Pete Davidson will play Blackguard, a super criminal who is best associated with his rivalry with Booster Gold. After being recruited by The 1000, who planned to execute him, Blackguard and Booster were forced to form a team. Blackguard later joined the Suicide Squad in an assassination attempt, but was killed by Wade Eiling in the process.
TDK – Nathan Fillion
Actor Nathan Fillion from The Rookie and Firefly will play “The Detachable Kid,” also known as Arm-Fall-Off-Boy.
Arm-Fall-Off-Boy, A.K.A. Floyd Belkin, is a rare and beloved character in DC Comics canon, and was initially inspired by a fan parody character. As the name suggests, Arm-Fall-Off-Boy has the ability to separate his arms and use them as weapons
Weasel – Sean Gunn
And finally, the star of Guardians of the Galaxy and The Gilmore Girls, Sean Gunn (and James Gunn's real-life brother) will play Weasel.
He debuted in The Fury of Firestorm # 35. He is a weasel who has close combat skills, agility, and sharp claws to slaughter his enemies. This put him in the crosshairs of Firestorm, who sent him to jail, prompting him to join the Suicide Squad.
