Without a doubt Iron Man is one of the greatest heroes in Marvel movies, but his impact is also negative when creating 6 villains.
Attention SPOILERS from Marvel movies. This exciting saga that currently has 23 films began with Iron Man from 2008. Robert Downey Jr. He brilliantly portrayed an intelligent and charismatic billionaire genius. When he falls into a trap he has to build armor to survive. Since then he will do anything to help humanity, although his actions also have consequences in the form of villains.
Obadiah stane (Jeff Bridges), is a brilliant businessman, he makes Stark Industries one of the largest arms companies in the world. But she is envious of Tony Stark and when he took control of his parents' company, Obadiah Stane felt displaced. So she decided to kill Tony while doing a demonstration. This caused him to become Iron Man, prompting a simple manager to wear very powerful armor and endanger citizens.
After becoming Iron Man, Tony and his father's actions in the past, they played a huge role in Anton Vanko (Mickey Rourke), as he allied himself with anyone who gave him funds to become Whiplash. Anton's father Ivan worked with Howard Stark on the original arc reactor designs, but was not given proper credit. Once Tony became known as a superhero and Ivan died, Anton replicated the miniature arc reactor to create his own upgrades. His original attempt to kill Tony fell short, and Stark's gloating gave Anton a chance to improve his designs. Anton becomes more powerful after doubling his cycles (at Tony's suggestion). Iron Man can only defeat him with the help of War Machine.
Tony Stark is also somehow responsible for turning the brilliant scientist Aldrich Killian (Guy Pearce) into a villain. Tony and Killian first met on New Year's Eve in 1999, when Killian wanted to meet with Tony to discuss their investment in Advanced Idea Mechanics. Although Tony promised to meet him, Killian was left alone and developed a hatred for Tony. Tonight was also when Tony helped Maya Hansen fix her Extremis formula, which benefits Killian in the future. More than a decade after their encounter, Killian begins to destroy Iron Man's life and injects himself with Extremis to become more powerful. Only after Pepper Potts was upgraded with Extremis, they managed to defeat the villain.
Tony Stark is also responsible for Adrian Toomes (Michael Keaton) becoming The Vulture. After the Battle of New York in the Avengers movie (2012), the city fell apart. Originally, New York cleaning was the job of Adrian Toomes and his company Bestman Salvage after they signed a contract with the city. However, Tony took the job away from them. With their business falling apart, Toomes and his team became thieves of alien technology. They benefited from using and selling the Chitauri remains and were not on Iron Man's radar for years. It wasn't until Spider-Man started fighting The Vulture that Tony Stark began to step in.
Quentin Beck (Jake Gyllenhaal) was an employee of Stark Industries who worked specifically on holographic technologies. Beck's work caught the attention of Tony, who gave his own spin to the designs. However, Iron Man using the technology did not turn out as well as Beck expected. Tony called it B.A.R.F. (Binarily Augmented Retro-Framing) and fired Beck after he complained about the name. But, once Tony died saving the universe in Avengers: Endgame, Beck used his holographic technology as he wanted and became Mysterio. He designed elaborate holograms using drones to make him look like Earth's next hero and thus steal E.D.I.T.H. by Peter Parker. In the end, Spider-Man was able to see beyond the illusions and seemed to defeat Mysterio.
Until now villains have become evil out of hatred for Iron Man, but Tony Star is directly responsible for the creation of Ultron (voiced by James Spader). He and Bruce Banner designed Ultron using the Loki Scepter Mind Gem code. Ultron's purpose was to protect humanity but he quickly realized that the greatest threat to humanity was humanity itself and wanted a restart. After initially being an advanced AI, Ultron used one of Tony's Iron Legion robots as the host corps in order to be free. He immediately began to build a plan to take down the Avengers and destroy Earth. Although the Avengers were able to stop Ultron, it was Vision who defeated him. Events led Tony to momentarily retire from being Iron Man.
