Agatha Christie returns to the big screen with DEATH ON THE NILE

20th Century Studios has revealed the first trailer for Death on the Nile, an adaptation of the Agatha Christie novel directed by Kenneth Branagh

Based on the 1937 novel by Agatha Christie, Death on the Nile is a riveting mystery thriller directed by Kenneth Branagh about emotional chaos and the deadly consequences of obsessive love affairs. Belgian detective Hercule Poirot's Egyptian vacation aboard a glamorous steamboat turns into a terrifying quest for a murderer when the idyllic honeymoon of a perfect couple is cut short in the most tragic way.

The adventure takes place in a landscape of legend with wonderful views of the desert and the majestic pyramids of Giza. It is a tale of unbridled passion and destructive jealousy starring a group of impeccably dressed cosmopolitan characters. The shocking twists and turns of the story will leave audiences wondering what has transpired until the shocking final denouement.

Death on the Nile reunites the team that created the hit 2017 Murder on the Orient Express, and stars Kenneth Branagh, a five-time Oscar® nominee who plays the famous detective Hercule Poirot. Branagh is joined by a stellar cast of suspects, including: Tom Bateman, Four-time Oscar® nominee Annette Bening, Russell Brand, Ali Fazal, Dawn French, Gal Gadot, Armie Hammer, Rose Leslie, Emma Mackey , Sophie Okonedo, Jennifer Saunders and Letitia Wright.
