Amid rumors about the possible appearance of Henry Cavill, the movie Black Adam has just added a new actor to its cast.

Black Adam is one of the new films that DC is preparing, which will star Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. This new film, about which a lot of information is still not known, has just found a new actor to add to its cast. This is Aldis Hodge, who will play the character Hawkman.

For those who don't know, we tell you that in the comics, Hawkman is Carter Hall, a reincarnation of an Egyptian prince who has lived multiple lives and has giant wings and a golden bird-shaped helmet. An important detail is that it has the power to create energy fields. At some point, the hero becomes a member of the Justice Society of America, the group that will lead the super movie that gives the film its title.

On the other hand, as already announced in DC FanDome, Black Adam's team will be made up of Doctor Fate, Cyclone and Atom Smasher, who will be played by Noah Centineo. Regarding the incorporation of Aldis Hodge, the rumors began recently, but it did not take long for the actor himself to confirm the news through his Instagram account. In that post, the actor revealed the great enthusiasm he has for being part of this new project. “So the rumor is out. @therock, it will be an honor to join you, @ncentineo and the # BlackAdam / # DCU family. Let's go! ”He wrote at the bottom of the image.
