Dwayne Johnson has shared a new image of Black Adam to promote the film's panel at today's DC FanDome
Dwayne Johnson has unveiled a new look of Black Adam ahead of the movie panel at DC FanDome. The former WWE Superstar is now one of the biggest movie stars on the planet as the leader of several different franchises. For the past decade, Johnson has been associated to play Black Adam and join the DC Extended Universe. Although the plan originally required Black Adam to be the villain in Shazam! , Johnson's continued rise resulted in his DC character having a solo movie first.
Black Adam has been in development for the past few years. Jaume Collet-Serra was hired to direct the film last year after working with Johnson on Disney's Jungle Cruise. The film also received a December 2021 release date and had plans to start filming in 2020, but that was before the coronavirus. While the movie may be a bit delayed, production on Black Adam is making great progress, with a few more updates expected to arrive during the DC FanDome.
DC's online convention will hold panels for each upcoming DCEU movie, and Johnson's Black Adam is scheduled to have a panel of its own. With a showman like Johnson at the helm, fans have anticipated wanting to know a lot more about his DC solo movie during that time. Now, in the lead up to the panel, Johnson has presented a fresh look at the film. Some flashes of the movie's logo can be seen near the end, but the video below ends with an animated concept art of Johnson's character.

This isn't the first look at Black Adam Johnson has released, as he previously shared a version of the character design by Jim Lee and BossLogic. With this second preview of what Johnson will look like in the movie, fans can continue to better understand what Black Adam's suit will look like in the movie. While this is an animated version of the concept art, fans should expect to see an HD version released today during Black Adam's DC FanDome panel.
However, fans could get more than just a concept art image during the DC FanDome. It has already been announced that Noah Centineo will play Atom Smasher in the film, so the casting for other members of the Justice Society of America may be revealed. Depending on the timing of their deals, the DC FanDome could offer concept art of the entire JSA team fighting alongside Black Adam, or against him.
