Criticism of Super Agent Makey: light comedy

Superagente Makey has been released today on the Spanish card, directed by Alfonso Sánchez and starring Leo Harlem, Silvia Abril or Jordi Sánchez among others.

José Miguel "Makey" is a hearty policeman who loves his work in the Carabanchel neighborhood and with a sense of responsibility and excessive honor. His life turns upside down when he is demoted to a mobility agent assigned to the Costa del Sol. There he will meet his daughter again and he will be involved in a dangerous international drug trafficking plot.

Superagente Makey is directed by Alfonso Sánchez,

a director pigeonholed in rancid and sparkless humor, with films like For All Death or The World is Ours, comedies devoid of novelties and without grace. The start has a decent beat, with action, but suddenly it stops and the film begins to slow down and it starts to bore.

Our protagonist is Leo Harlem,

a man typecast in his papers without grace and with the same hue, plays Makey, an agent from a Madrid neighborhood, with a hearty look, so hearty that it is exaggerated and without spark and originality. He forms a comedy duo with Jordi Sánchez, a renowned actor, but who always occupies the same roles and who, here it occupies much of the leading role, but neither of them works, they are repetitive actors with the same expression and humor, that at the beginning goes well, but with time it loses grace.

He wants to pay tribute to great films from the eighties and to many other mythical police films starring Will Smith or Eddie Murphy,

but it is also reflected the tone of the infamous Torrente saga. The tape features a cluster of topics that do nothing but annoy, since they do not contribute anything to the tape and even make it worse (even more). The father and daughter story, the end of which cannot be more simple and silly, the typical and topical Russian mafia and the very stereotypical good guys and bad guys, making an agile script turn into a can unbearable. There is no depth or messageFor not having, there is no grace. It is the set of topics already seen in the Spanish comedy and that, do not contribute anything. It is a little while, but nothing more.
