Disney does not want to distribute everything that was obtained by Avengers: Endgamand. So he launched a critique of Rearden's reasoning behind filing the lawsuit. It can be read below.
“There are endless reasons why consumers pay to see a particular movie, including (among many others) stars, script, costumes, and music. It is highly speculative to say which of these factors leads people to pay to see a movie. But at least these are things that consumers actually see visually or hear out loud. Rearden has no evidence that consumers have chosen to watch any of the movies in question here because a third-party vendor, months (or more) before the movie was released, made temporary RAM copies of the software that no consumer saw. Avengers: Endgame raised more than 2.797 million dollars, so it is a rule that many want a piece of its success.
The creators of special effects have little recognition.
It does not seem that Rearden have many arguments against the multimillion dollar corporation. But the speed with which Disney acted against the lawsuit does not bode well for the thousands of artists employed by the visual effects industry who already feel as though they are heavily overworked and underpaid for their incredibly valuable contributions to some. of the most popular movies in history like Avengers: Endgame. What is largely unrecognized by audiences who are so caught up in the action that they don't pay much attention to how it was created in the first place.
