Hulu's Books of Blood movie trailer shows a haunting and disturbing journey into the nightmares of Clive Barker.
If you like horror this is your movie. The streaming platform Hulu recently announced that his upcoming film adaptation of Books of Blood of Clive barker, will premiere on the streaming service on October 7, 2020, and now we have a much better idea of what to expect thanks to a spooky full trailer.
It was originally designed to be developed as a television series that would have adapted as many short stories from Clive Barker's book collection as possible, but this time they will only focus on three. They have not revealed what they are, but from the images we are seeing in the trailer, everything suggests that they are "The Book of Blood" and "In Jerusalem Street."

What is the movie about?
Books of Blood from the writer of Hellraiser they also included characters like Rawhead Rex and Midnight Meat Train which were previously adapted in other media. But then there are also The Yattering and Jack, and The Forbidden, which influenced 1992's Candyman.
Brannon Braga directed, co-wrote and executive produced alongside The Orville collaborator Seth MacFarlane. The cast members announced so far are: Andy McQueen (Fahrenheit 451), Freda Foh Shen (Ad Astra), Nicholas Campbell (The Da Vinci Investigation), Anna Friel (Marcella), Britt Robertson (To the People), Rafi Gavron (A Star Is Born) and Yul Vazquez (Midnight, Texas).
“Written by Braga and Adam Simon (Salem) based on a Barker short story will have additional original material. Books of Blood embarks on a journey to unexplored and forbidden territory through three tales tangled in space and time ”.
