An audition for Doctor Strange in the multiverse of madness confirms the character of América Chávez and different realities
A video has been leaked for an audition that is said to be for Doctor Strange in the multiverse of madness which seems to confirm that América Chávez will be part of the sequel, and sheds clues about alternative realities.
An audition video circulating online seems to confirm that América Chávez will be part of Doctor Strange in the multiverse of madness. That's been rumored for months now, and while there's nothing to say, and none of this dialogue will make it to the sequel itself, it's pretty revealing!
There are some noteworthy dialogue, including "a giant demon just took a block out of our city and tried to eat you" and "He didn't try to eat me, he tried to kidnap me."
There are also many mentions of the Multiverse, including “Let's say this pizza is the Multiverse. This is the reality of my home and here is yours. They are identical in some respects but completely different in others ”. Considering that América Chávez comes from a different universe in the comics, it seems that the line of dialogue could be a very revealing reference.
If Doctor Strange and the Scarlet Witch are going to travel through the Multiverse together, then it makes sense for them to cross paths with America Chávez, and it will almost certainly end up being part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
There's nothing to say this is 100% legit, but it certainly looks like it, and it might give us an idea of the kind of actresses Marvel Studios is looking to play the role of this enigmatic hero.
You can watch the video below:
The sequel will be directed by Sam Raimi (Spider-man 1, 2 and 3) and starring Benedict Cumberbatch, Elizabeth Olsen and Benedict Wong.
