Enola Holmes is the new movie preparing to launch Netflix, which will star Millie Bobby Brown, Henry Cavill and Sam Claflin.
Fortunately, Netflix It didn't take long to reveal the first images of Enola Holmes. Recall that recently, the news was announced that the platform received a demand from the heirs of Arthur Conan Doyle for possible copyright infringement. However, the streaming platform has decided to take advantage of the repercussion to introduce us to the sister of Sherlock Holmes with the first photos of the film (via USA Today and Total Film).
In one of them we see Millie Bobby Brown like the teenage detective looking at the camera with a dismayed face (the character will break the fourth wall often), while in the second we see the three Holmes brothers reunited. Henry Cavill plays Sherlock Holmes, and Sam Claflin plays Mycroft.
A while ago we told you about the existence of this tape, and finally more details were released. Enola Holmes is based on Nancy Springer's novels about Sherlock's younger sister, "a young woman trying to find herself in frantic chaos who doesn't quite know how to drive, but that's a bit of life in general for a teenager," explains the protagonist. The film will be set in the Victorian era and will show Enola fighting "for the freedom to be a woman as she wants" and Sherlock "learning to take care of someone for the first time," explains director Harry Bradbeer (Fleabag).
Sherlock and Mycroft Holmes have a younger sister – and this September, she's taking her first case.
