Sony Pictures presents the first images of Young and Witches, a sequel with the same title as the mythical film of the 90s
Sony has presented the trailer with the first images of YOUNG WITCHES AND YOUNG WITCHES, a sequel to the hit film of the 90s that will hit theaters throughout Spain on October 30 in a new production by Blumhouse, the famous horror producer responsible for titles such as the Oscar-nominated Let Me Out, and the chilling Insidious, Paranormal Activity or La Purga sagas.

Written and directed by Zoe Lister-Jones, it features Cailee Spaeny, Gideon Adlon, Lovie Simone, Zoey Luna, Nicholas Galitzine, along with Michelle Monaghan (Mission Impossible 3, The best of me, or Goodbye little one, goodbye) and David Duchovny (X-Files, Californication). Blumhouse and Red Wagon Entertainment produced the film for Columbia Pictures.
The story of this sequel follows an eclectic quartet of aspiring teenage witches who get more than they bargained for while leaning on their newfound powers. The film despite being announced as a sequel to the 90s film of the same title directed by Andrew Fleming is highly reminiscent of the original film except that it will be an updated version of it. In principle, it seems that the only reference to the first film is a photograph that shows Robin Tunney's character, Nancy Downs, although we do not know the relationship he has with the protagonists of the film that looks more like a remake than a sequel, but we will have to wait to see the film in theaters to be able to find out. What did you think of the trailer? Did you see the first movie?
