According to the information provided by Deadline, Jamie Foxx will be incorporated as the protagonist of the new Netflix movie, which will be titled Day Shift. The character the actor will play is described as “a blue-collar hardworking father who only seeks to provide a good life for his intelligent and resourceful eight-year-old daughter, but his job as a pool cleaner in the San Fernando Valley is just a front for his true source of income: hunting vampires ”.

This new project is directed by J.J. Perry, who will make his debut as the lead director of a motion picture production. However, he had previously served as Second Unit director and stunt coordinator on Fast & Furious 8 and 9, Bloodshot, and the John Wick franchise.
