Jurassic World 3: Colin Trevorrow reveals connection to The Lost World

Jurassic World 3 is raising the expectations of the fans and also their anxiety. Recently, Colin Trevorrow revealed a connection the film will have with The Lost World.

Jurassic World 3 is establishing itself as one of the highly anticipated movies of 2021 and with good reason. The production is directed by Colin Trevorrow and in it we will once again have the talents of Bryce Dallas Howard and Chris Pratt in the starring roles. Also, we will have some old faces that we know quite well. Through Jurassic Outpost, the director shared a spectacular image that reminds us quite of The Lost World. Is this a connection?

The filming of Jurassic World 3 was interrupted by the coronavirus pandemic, but after a while it returned to its activities. but he has already returned to activities, following the strictest health protocols, of course. This film will soon hit theaters and its objective is clear: to conquer the box office around the world, and it has all the weapons to achieve it in the best way.

What will the connection be?

On this occasion, Colin Trevorrow appears with a new image that suggests a connection to The Lost World: Jurassic Park. Steven Spielberg's trilogy was a great success in the cinema, something that went down in history and inspired millions; the good reputation of the brand pulled the strings of Universal and Legendary, companies that promoted the production of new films and that managed to monopolize the box office of the other studios that have imposed themselves with their monopolies. Jurassic World 3 continues to build on the foundations of the first three installments and the new photograph is a direct link to a time that has been somewhat behind.

"Trevorrow suggests a return to Isla Sorna in the new look from the Jurassic World Dominion set," reads the caption for the shared image. Said photo is a fairly direct reference to a site that will seem familiar to fans. In the revealed material we can see a cold storage container inside a laboratory, the large object is labeled "Site B Isla Sorna". Isla Sorna is a site that was first seen in The lost World and then revisited during Jurassic Park III.

In this way, the film will not only feature the return of a cast that was iconic, but also with great connections and the most real dinosaurs of the entire saga.
