Jurassic World 3: Jake Johnson was coming back but COVID prevented him

Jurassic World 3 does not stop revealing new details. Now it was revealed that Jake Johnson was going to return for this trilogy, but COVID-19 prevented him from doing so.

Jurassic World 3, the closing of the second trilogy about the dinosaur theme park, was able to return to filming after being unemployed for several months due to the coronavirus pandemic. As we know, Sam Neill, Laura Dern and Jeff Goldblum return in this installment, recovering their characters from ‘Jurassic Park’. And apparently, Jake Johnson was also going to be featured on the tape.

The actor who played Lowery Cruthers in 'Jurassic World', was also going to return in this new installment, after not having appeared in 'The Fallen Kingdom'. However, COVID-19 has made it very difficult. “I was getting ready to go but the pandemic came and everything was postponed and the schedules were redone, and now we are trying to find a solution because I am (busy) in 'Stumptown' and we are going to start filming its second season. So we are trying to square the agendas and how we can make it work. But Colin Trevorrow, the director, is a good friend for a long time and we have spoken and we are going to try to coordinate ”, explained Johnson himself about his participation in Jurassic World 3.

Lowery is not to be missed

For Lowery, who is a staunch fan of dinosaurs, seeing them roam freely has to be a dream. “It's funny because Colin and I had the same conversation where we said that everything was getting very complicated but it is something I don't want to waste. If this is the grand finale and everyone is going to come back, there would be something missing if Lowery can't make at least one appearance, ”the actor remarked on Jurassic World 3.

Jurassic World 3 will hit theaters on June 11, 2021 if there are no further delays, with Colin Trevorrow back in the director's chair and Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard heading up the cast. Recently, it was released what is the connection that this film will have with The Lost World.
