Kevin Bacon reacts to his reference in Guardians of the Galaxy

According to Star Lord, Footloose is the best movie ever made, and Kevin Bacon has now shared his reaction to references made about him in Guardians of the Galaxy and Avengers: Infinity War.

Peter Quill / Star Lord (Chris Pratt), the protagonist of Guardians of the Galaxy, was kidnapped as a child and has since been raised in space with the Looters of Yondu (Michael Rooker). When they took it off Earth it was the 80s and that's why there are so many references to movies from that time. Without forgetting a funny mention to Kevin Bacon that put it at the level of the most powerful beings in the Universe.

Since then there has been much speculation that the actor Kevin Bacon would have some role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, especially since he worked with the director James Gunn in Super (2010). Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 would be the perfect time.

Now during a recent interview, the star of Kevin Bacon (X-Men: First Generation, The Following) shared his reaction on those references.

"Well, I mean, there was a mention in Guardians of the Galaxy that I thought was pretty surprising," he explained. “I really didn't know anything about it and then I went and sat in the cinema and someone said to me: Have you seen that movie yet? I said, No, I haven't seen him yet. I'm sitting in the movie theater and I think, "Wow, that's so big!"

Marvel often uses well-known actors.

It wouldn't be so strange if some movie from the Marvel Cinematic Universe featured Kevin Bacon, even though he's already played the mutant Sebastian Shaw. Hopefully James Gunn will add it in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3They would demonstrate how far they can go with a joke.
