Actor Mark Ruffalo wants to continue playing the Hulk for many years, but he is still afraid that Marvel Studios will not have him again.
The character of Hulk is in a difficult contractual situation within the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Like Spider-man whose rights belong to Sony, those of Bruce Banner are from Universal. That is why they are so resistant to making a new movie and it only appears as a secondary luxury. This causes its leading actor, Mark Ruffalo, is always aware of what may happen to the Avenger he plays.

In a recent interview, Mark Ruffalo admitted that he still feels like he could be kicked out of the franchise at any time, saying:
"Yes. Every time I complain it's like, 'Damn, how long are we waiting to make a new movie?' I say, 'Hey, remember you're not even supposed to be here.' I just remember being thankful that I still can't believe it. I keep thinking: They're going to kick me out of the club. In the first place, I never belonged here and everyone will find out ”.

He is one of the most beloved Avengers.
Despite Hulk has only one solo movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe that was released in 2008, it is considered one of the worst. On that occasion it was Edward Norton the protagonist and after many discussions with the studio he left the role. It was when they signed Mark Ruffalo and the status of Hulk changed a lot. Since he was not a protagonist again, but a very important secondary. In fact he is one of the most beloved Avengers of the formation and his story has been developed quite a bit in films such as The Avengers (2012), Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015), Thor: Ragnarok (2017), Avengers: Infinity War (2018) and Avengers: Endgame (2019). Even in this film it was vital to bring back all those who disappeared because of the "snap" of Thanos with the Infinity Stones.
So let's hope that Marvel Studios will continue to count on Hulk played by Mark Ruffalo and that they will send an email or something to the actor so that he is calm.
