Marvel doesn't introduce Doctor Doom in movies to power another character

The great villain of the Fantastic Four, Doctor Doom, will have to wait to return to the cinema because the plans they have at Marvel include another character.

We have already seen Doctor Doom / Victor Von Doom in the cinema played by Julian McMahon (2005/2007) and by Toby Kebbell (2015). So it is normal that Marvel wants to wait a bit to put it back into the UCM. Although he is one of the most important villains in the comics.

According to the latest reports, the series of The Falcon and The Winter Soldier from Disney +, will have some very important scenes in the madripoor island. A place where the worst villains meet and that Wolverine have you ever called "your home". It will be at that moment where he will introduce us to Lucia Von Bardas. What rules out that Doctor Doom has a short-term participation.

Who is Lucia von Bardas?

She's not exactly one of the biggest villains in Marvel comics, but she has served as the successor to Doctor Doom after he was ousted as the leader of Latveria (Fictional Country). Lucia even took on the "Doctor Doom" look for her for a while.

Supposedly Marvel Studios could easily portray her as a diplomat or something similar in an upcoming movie or TV show to reveal that Latveria really exists in the MCU.

That would be something like the way that Wakanda was presented through Ulysses Klaue in Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015). But it looks like it could even happen in a series like The Falcon and The Winter Soldier.

It would be an interesting turn on the part of Marvel, since if we really see Lucia Von Bardas, it means that Doctor Doom and the Fantastic Four are on the exit ramp in order to make their debut. Even if they have to wait a while, we will see them again.
