The Marvel Cinematic Universe has many movies but none are starring a villain, although that is going to change.
Perhaps you can consider Thanos as one of the basic pillars of Avengers: Infinity War (2018) and Avengers: Endgame (2019), but despite everything he is the villain, so we cannot call him the protagonist. However, now Marvel wants Killmonger (Michael B. Jordan) have your own movie.

While is true that Loki will have his own television series on Disney +It seems that even he, who has been so shocking over the years, will not get his own story in theaters. Since they have chosen Killmonger to have that privilege. Because it would be a shame if an actor of the talent of Michael B. Jordan It was reduced to a single movie, but now reports suggest that Marvel is developing a spin-off for it.
According to the information, Marvel Studios wants to do more with the villain and one idea being discussed behind the scenes is a prequel that traces Erik Stevens' journey from a bereaved young man to a murderer who has been in numerous battles.

Who is Killmonger?
His name is N’Jadaka, but it is also known as Erik stevens at Marvel Cinematic Universe. He was in the American Army in clandestine operations and his actions earned him the nickname of Killmonger. As a child, T’Chaka (father of T’Challa / Black Panther) killed his father N’Jobu for betraying Wakanda. So the boy vowed revenge and planned to forcibly dethrone T’Challa to seize Wakanda's resources. His goal was to stop what he perceived as the oppression of African people by the world. In order to enter his native country, he killed an ally of his named Ulysses Klaue, this allowed him to face T’Challa for the throne. Killmonger manages to win and is almost crowned, but the king returns and defeats him in an epic battle. Erik Stevens decides to die free before being imprisoned.
For that reason either they resurrect it in some way or the movie must be a prequel to the events of Marvel's Black Panther (2018).
