Paranormal Activity 7 and the franchise's new documentary hit Paramount + in time for Halloween.
Halloween is about to get a lot more haunted, as the long-awaited next entry in the Paranormal Activity franchise, Paranormal Activity 7, is coming to Paramount +. Just in time to include it in your marathon of movies related to this time of year. In addition to this latest installment, a documentary about the franchise is also in preparation.
Paramount Players' new Paranormal Activity should bring fans an unexpected reimagining of the beloved horror franchise. We will also release a documentary about the making of the movie Paranormal Activity. Both will arrive at the service in time for Halloween, commented the CPO of ViacomCBS Streaming, Tanya giles at a press conference for the Televition Critics Association.
The new film will be written by Christopher Landon (Happy Death Day, 2019), who will also be an executive producer along with Steven Schneider (Paranormal Activity: The Phantom Dimension, 2015). The original creator of Paranormal Activity, Pray Peli and Jason blum (La Purga, 2013) by Blumhouse, will be the producers together with William Eubank (Underwater, 2020; The Signal, 2014) as director.
It will have the talent of Emily bader (The Witch 2017), Rolan Buck III (Taking the fall, 2021) and Henry Ayers-Brown (Last Ferry, 2019). It was also revealed that this movie will be one of three or four movies that Paramount Players, a sister studio to Paramount, will present each year.
Paranormal Activity first debuted in 2009, offering its own special style of scares and spooky sequences to share with horror fans. The documentary is expected to explore how the series made its mark on the world of horror movies and pop culture. However, no specific details about the new film or documentary have been shared at this time. Both Paranormal Activity 7 and the documentary will premiere in time for Halloween.
