Zack Snyder will release his version of Justice League (2021) and could include a cameo for Ryan Reynolds as Green Lantern.
After a two and a half year campaign by fans to see the version of Zack Snyder of League of Justice, the film will be released on the platform HBO Max. This new edition will last more than 4 hours and will undoubtedly bring many surprises. One of them could be in the form of a cameo Ryan Reynolds as Green Lantern.
It is speculated that 75% of what was shot by Zack Snyder was discarded by Joss Whedon, so we will be before a new movie. At the moment it is not known if they will gather the original cast to film new scenes or if they will have to cope with what already exists. But the Green Lantern is expected to get much more screen time, and Ryan Reynolds seems to be thrilled with the idea of making a brief appearance.
For now this information has not been confirmed.
The sources are the same that anticipated the arrival of Zack Snyder's version of the Justice League on HBO Max and that they were preparing a Green Lantern show. And Ryan Reynolds is reported to have said that he is more than happy to appear in a cameo in the film. Of course, that doesn't mean it will happen 100% given the actor's tight schedule and whether or not there is a logical enough way to put him in the movie without making him feel too forced. But he wants to give the character of DC Comics, as he already did with Marvel Deadpool.
Curiously, actor Ryan Reynolds himself has made a lot of fun of his performance as Green Lantern, perhaps this will close old wounds and may finally be at peace with the character.
