Universal Pictures wants to retell the story of this cultural icon with one of Hollywood's most profitable lead actors. The sources consulted, which are the same ones that were right long ago with the new Scream movie and that Taskmaster would be the villain in Black Widow, now report that the study has Ryan Reynolds in its sights to play the protagonist.

What is this story about?

The original film starred Lon chaney like the hideously disfigured ghost, who turned everyone's life at the Paris Opera into hell for years. The ghost of the same name repeatedly terrorized employees and attendees with chaos, with shenanigans in an attempt to elevate the woman he loves to be a full-fledged stage star. However, the harmless pranks soon turn into cold-blooded murders, leaving everyone on the brink of what the monster will do next. So it seems like a very interesting role for Ryan reynoldsAlthough it would have to use its most dramatic version and put comedy aside.
