When Chadwick Boseman passed away at the age of 43, he unfortunately couldn't finish all the projects he had, like a movie with Samuel L Jackson.
Samuel L Jackson, actor who plays Nick fury at Marvel Cinematic Universe, commented in a recent interview about the last time he saw Chadwick boseman. The two apparently discussed doing a project that sadly will never get done now.
“Yes, it is sudden for everyone. He was trying to remember the last time he had seen Chadwick Boseman. And I was talking to Zoe, our daughter, about it and it was at the premiere of Captain Marvel. We walked around and started talking about another project that I was hoping we were going to work on. He was like, 'I'm sorry everyone, I'm not going to be there, but I wish we would work together.'
“We were talking about it, we had planned it for a while and it was, you know, it's heartbreaking, losing someone who is such an important part of the culture. In terms of what the world became with Black Panther. When we work, we all hope that people will remember the things we will do. But it impressed society in such a way, especially impacted black culture, and gave children a hero they could aspire to. To lose it, I don't even know if I could say that to my son. It's devastating. "
Such was the privacy with which the actor chose to live his life that no one was planning a future without him.
Not the director Ryan coogler, who had been writing a script for Black panther 2 with the belief that his main star would be in the film, nor the president of Marvel Studios, Kevin Feige, who supposedly only found out that he was ill on the day of his death. It's still hard to say how the franchise processes impact going forward, though that pales in meaning in the face of the death of a talented and deeply loved young man. That impact will take much longer to process. There will also be many projects that we will no longer see like the movie with Samuel L Jackson.
