The next few weeks will be great for cinema in Hollywood. After a long wait due to the pandemic, several movies, such as The Batman, will return to the set.
With the effective control of the coronavirus pandemic in certain countries, some of the most anticipated films are about to return to routine recordings. Fantastic Animals 3 and Mission Impossible 7 are some of them, however, the one that has raised the expectations the most is The Batman, the next Warner Bros production that is inspired by the famous DC Comics superhero.
Before a pandemic was declared in March, The Batman filming had already begun. Thanks to the revelation of images we were able to see the first preview of Robert Pattinson with the suit and we also got some leaked footage on the set in Gotham City. The tape stopped its recordings in the UK due to the dreaded virus, however it seems things have improved and are about to get back on track.
According to the new Heroic Hollywood report, the return to production of The Batman in May, however, the recordings were suspended. The UK Secretary of Culture has revealed that the resumption of filming will be allowed for The Batman, Fantastic Animals, Mission Impossible 7 and Jurassic World: Dominion; The institution also informs that it will present guides to the production teams which guarantee a safe working environment to avoid contagion.
While we wait for the film to finally resume its recording, some cast members revealed some details of their characters. For example, Zoe Kravitz told what the Catwoman costume will be like and Peter Sarsgaard described her character as "very intense".
