Apparently, everyone wants to be part of The Batman, the new film that Warner Bros. is preparing. This time, Dave Bautista tried to be chosen, but it seems that he had no luck.
Apparently, Drax the Destroyer is not enough for Dave Bautista, who wants to jump into the competition. The actor wanted to clarify a rumor that was beginning to gain strength on Twitter, which assured that he would appear in The Batman playing Bane, one of the most mythical villains of the Bat Man that we already saw on the big screen played by Tom Hardy in 'The Dark Knight Rises'.
The ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ actor responded to the rumor with a simple “Unfortunately, it doesn't. I tried my best. " So at least he seems to admit that it was offered somewhere along the way, but Matt Reeves' team decided that either he or the character didn't match the story they want to tell.
Unfortunately it’s not. Tried my best🤷🏻♂️ https://t.co/Dfn6UGzzlb

The thing is, The Batman already has an interesting roster of confirmed villains. Zoë Kravitz will become Catwoman. Colin Farrell will be the Penguin. Paul Dano will play Enigma. Peter Sarsgaard will serve as the Gil Colson District Attorney. And John Turturro will be Carmine Falcone. And the surprises that will keep us in store! But apparently, Dave Bautista will not be one of them and will have to continue in Marvel, perhaps fighting for his idea of a Drax and Mantis movie being made.
On the “good guys” side we will have Robert Pattinson as Bruce Wayne, Andy Serkis as Butler Alfred and Jeffrey Wright as Commissioner James Gordon. The film will feature a script by Matt Reeves and Mattson Tomlin himself. Batman The Batman ’will hit theaters on October 1, 2021.
