Without a doubt, one of the most shocking moments in the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe was the final battle against Thanos from Avengers: Endgame.
The production designer Ryan lang offers an image of the initial process of crafting the final battle of Avengers: Endgame. The artwork features various heroes of the Marvel Cinematic Universealthough not everyone who ended up in the final version of the big screen scene, fighting Thanos and his minions.

The original Avengers are front and center in this illustration, which means that Marvel studios had decided from the start that all six would survive Avengers: Infinity War (2018) and would return for Avengers: Endgame.
It's no secret that the climactic battle of Avengers: Endgame and the immediate events that preceded it went through various changes. At first, they didn't have the portals scene, which would have been a huge mistake. They also planned a short scene with most of the heroes trapped in a trench, but ultimately ended up scrapping it. However, what is clear from this concept art is that the complicated action sequence would always take place on the grounds of the Avengers headquarters. As evidenced by the Avengers logo thrown in the rubble.

Infinity War / Endgame battle process. For a bunch of characters, it was easier to use mannequins in @zbrushatpixologic ti rough out a compositions, use that as reference for the sketch, then paint it. Not 3D in the final. Normally I like to sketch out my roughs, but this was a quicker way to iterate and get an approval for the composition #process
It was probably the hardest movie to produce in recent years.
To make Avengers: Infinity War Y Avengers: Endgame they had to use a gigantic team with a logistics never seen before. They also had to coordinate schedules of many actors who are Hollywood stars. All this while fighting so that none of the secrets would jump to the Internet.
The result was a movie worthy of the end of a brilliant era and it will be a long time before we see something similar again, not even Star wars or DC Comics have been able to get closer to what he achieved Avengers: Endgame.
You can currently see all the movies in the Marvel Cinematic Universe at Disney + included Avengers: Endgame.
