The New Mutants reveals their intense opening scene and new trailer

The movie The New Mutants presented unpublished material in the virtual session of Comic-Con 2020 and it seems that it will be spectacular.

They brought together the cast and the director of The New Mutants for the panel of the Comic-Con @ Home and they have confirmed that it will be released in theaters and have shown a lot of unpublished material. Where the spectacular opening scene is included and a trailer full of action and terror.

Despite reports that The New Mutants would not make it to theaters and would go straight to Disney +, in the panel Comic-Con @ Home it was confirmed that the film will meet its release date in theaters on August 8. It will therefore be the first major world premiere since the global pandemic caused by the Coronavirus (COVID-19) was unleashed. Although it is not ruled out that their arrival in streaming will be quite soon.

A shocking opening scene.

The panel also released a new trailer and the opening sequence for the film. The New Mutants, which starts with Danielle Moonstar (Blu Hunt) running away from what we suppose is the Demon Bear, before witnessing the murder of his father by the supernatural creature. This leads directly to the trailer, which features a ton of stunning new footage of the five young heroes in action.

The film material starts around the minute 24:19. So those who don't want to see the whole conversation and go straight to the scenes of The New Mutants they can do it quickly.

While the original only featured Mirage (Blu Hunt) with Demon Bear lurking in the background, here he is joined by his fellow mutants like Rahne / Wolfsbane (Maisie Williams), Sam / Cannonball (Charlie Heaton), Illyana / Magik (Anya Taylor-Joy) and Roberto / Sunspot (Henry Zaga). | Movies, comics and series
