Tom Holland could play Link in Netflix's The Legend of Zelda

Actor Tom Holland, who is Marvel's Spider-Man and is currently shooting Uncharted, could play Link in Netflix's The Legend of Zelda movie.

There are rumors that Nintendo and Netflix are collaborating on a project of The legend of zelda for some time. The exact form it will take has been a bit confusing, but reports suggest that they want to make a movie and a TV series, both of which would premiere on the streaming platform. It seems they want me Tom holland play the brave Link, as they are delighted with the result it has given with the newly released film The devil at all hours.

The actor who has become known worldwide thanks to Spider-man of the Marvel Cinematic Universe seems like a good fit for the character. Since it is easy to imagine him as the adventurous, brave and resourceful hero. Since Link never speaks in Nintendo games, it would also be easy for him to put his own spin on the character and do something interesting. Tom Holland would actually be better for a Legenda adaptation of Zelda than Uncharted, as he doesn't look anything like Nathan Drake from video games.

What games will the movie and / or TV show be inspired by?

As they are reporting, the movie would start this fantasy world and they need a great actor like Tom Holland, to play Link. But in the series, the protagonists would be others, since they would delve into the entire mythology of the saga. So Link would only have small cameos to unify the two formats.

They could start by adapting Ocarina of Time, then The Wind Waker, Twilight Princess and finally the post-apocalyptic beauty of Breath of the Wild. It could also be a totally new version of The Legend of Zelda that is unlike anything we've seen so far.

In any case, 2021 is the 35th anniversary of The Legend of Zelda and apparently Nintendo has big plans to celebrate with fans. So it would not be strange if Netflix soon announced that Tom Holland is the new Link. The problem is that he currently has a very tight schedule. | Cinema, comics and series
